Vintage Tonala Mexican Folk Art Ceramic Owl

This is a really charming piece of Mexican folk art. It's a hand-painted Tonala ceramic owl with that classic burnished finish they're known for. The earthy tones and detailed feather patterns give it a lot of character. It's got a nice weight to it and sits on two little orange feet. Used, but it's been well-kept and still looks great as a shelf accent or part of a pottery collection. as noted in the second photo, a small portion of the tail has been chipped mostly the glaze that goes on the piece
