Vintage Scrimshaw Style Whale and Ship Brooch

Found this cool little vintage-style brooch. It's got a scrimshaw look to it with a whale tail and a sailing ship etched on what looks like a faux bone or resin cabochon. The gold-tone frame has a nice ornate, scalloped edge. It's a neat piece if you're into nautical stuff or just like that old-school sailor aesthetic. Not sure exactly how old it is but it has a great look to it.
