Vintage Pearl and Carved Glass Brooch

Found this cool vintage-looking brooch. It's got a dark, smoky glass or maybe obsidian base with a little pearl set right in the middle. The oval shape has some neat starburst carvings around the edge. It's definitely got that antique vibe, maybe mid-century or earlier. Not sure on the exact metal or stone type but it looks pretty unique. Great little piece if you like older jewelry styles.
