Vintage Japanese Satsuma Moriage Sugar Bowl

This is a really beautiful piece of vintage Japanese Satsuma porcelain. It's a small sugar bowl or lidded jar featuring some incredibly detailed moriage work, which gives it that great raised, textured feel. The design shows traditional immortal figures and is finished with a lot of gold gilt that still catches the light nicely. It's got two small handles and the original lid is still with it. Used, but looks to be in nice shape for its age.
