Vintage Japanese Kokeshi Doll with Bark Body

This is a vintage Japanese kokeshi doll with a really unique look. The body is made from a natural wood branch with the bark still on it, and it's hand-painted with a scene featuring a red torii gate. It's got some wear and scuffs on the head and body from age, but that just adds to the character. The face is hand-painted with a sweet expression. It's a great little piece of folk art for a shelf or collection. Used.
