Vintage Elgin 17 Jewels Shockproof Watch

Got this vintage Elgin watch here. It's got that classic mid-century look with the gold tone case and a nice patina on the dial. It says 17 jewels and shockproof on the face. The crystal has some scratches and wear from over the years but it adds to the character if you ask me. Not sure when it was last serviced but it's a cool piece for anyone into old school timepieces. Band is a bit worn too but still holds up.
