Vintage Carved Stone Elephant Figurine

Found this little carved elephant figurine. It looks like it's made of soapstone or maybe some kind of bone or resin, has a nice cream color with some brown veining through it. It's pretty small, good for a shelf or a desk. Trunk is up which is supposed to be good luck I think. No chips or anything that I can see, just a cool little vintage piece.
