Native American Chert Lithic Core Artifact

Found this cool piece of worked stone out in the field. It looks like a lithic core or a large scraper made from local chert or flint. You can see the flake scars where pieces were struck off to make tools. It's got some nice banding and a good weight to it. Perfect for anyone into geology or ancient artifacts. Not sure exactly how old it is but it's definitely been worked by hand at some point. Pick it up for your collection.
