Drake SSR-1 Communications Receiver

Got this vintage Drake SSR-1 communications receiver up for grabs. It's a classic shortwave radio from the late 70s, covers everything from 0.5 to 30 MHz. It has that cool analog dial and feels really solid. Great piece for anyone into ham radio or just wants a cool retro lookin receiver for the desk. Has some wear from age but looks decent overall. Front panel plastic peel is still in tact! Turns on and front panel lights up, when powered by internal battery, unable to test properly. Missing mains plug.
