Athenians 1909 Mardi Gras New Orleans Doubloon Token

Found this old Mardi Gras doubloon from the Athenians krewe. It's dated 1909 on the front but these are usually modern aluminum or bronze reproductions of the original ball invitations. Has some nice aging and patina on it. Cool little piece of New Orleans history if you're into collecting carnival memorabilia or just want a neat coin to toss on a shelf. It's got some wear but that just gives it more character honestly.
