Athearn HO Scale Monon Offset Side Hopper Car #4017

This is a classic Athearn HO scale offset side hopper car featuring the Monon "The Hoosier Line" livery. It's finished in a traditional oxide red with crisp white lettering and includes a realistic coal load. The car is numbered M.O.N. 4017 and shows the "BLT 5-54" date on the side. It's in good shape overall, though it's missing one of the stirrup steps on the end. It comes with an Athearn box, though the box shows some shelf wear from age. Great piece for a vintage layout or a Monon collector.
