This is a really impressive 18th-century halberd head, likely of French or Italian origin. It features some incredibly detailed openwork carving throughout the blade, including what looks like a central figure and ornate scrollwork. It's got a great aged patina that really shows its history. It's just the head and the socket, so it's ready to be mounted or displayed as a standalone piece of militaria. Used, with the kind of wear you'd expect from an antique of this age.
