Hand-Carved Wooden Bird Figurine

Found this little hand-carved wooden bird. It's got some hand-painted details and looks like it might have been part of a larger set or maybe a folk art piece. It's definitely seen some better days and has a bit of wear, but it's still a cool little decorative thing if you're into that rustic, handmade look. Not sure exactly what kind of bird it's supposed to be, maybe a quail or something similar. It's pretty small, fits right in the palm of your hand.
